VMC95L with
PortaMount
The
VMC95L is intriguing in its own right with interesting features
including a curved vane Secondary Mirror Spider to reduce
diffraction effects. Like its larger cousins the VMC110L,
VMC200L and VMC260L, this scope features a meniscus lens just
ahead of the Secondary Mirror.
This
is one of the best multiple purpose grab and go telescopes that
is as perfectly suited for looking at the stars as it is the
bird in the tree half a mile away. With more light gathering
capability than anything else in this price range and a
extremely light weight at 4lbs, you might just forget you
packed it with you to the top of that ridgeline (well okay maybe
not!).
